Call for Expressions of Interest for Membership of IRCA Advisory Groups

IRCA is calling for Expressions of Interest from interested people with the appropriate skills and experience to nominate for two initial Advisory Groups on:

  • Radio content sharing
  • Employment and skills development

The aim of these Advisory Groups is to share knowledge and ideas and support development of relevant policies and strategies for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander broadcasting, media and communications. The Advisory Groups will comprise appropriately experienced and skilled persons working in the sector and, where relevant, invited persons from outside the sector with specific expertise. The groups will comprise up to 8 people.

Other Advisory Groups will be progressively implemented in 2018. The IRCA Board will review the nominations in conjunction with the IRCA General Manager.

Participation in Advisory Groups is voluntary - there is no payment. Advisory Group members will be acknowledged in communications and documents relating to the work of the Advisory Groups.

For more information, download the IRCA Advisory Groups Terms of Reference. To apply to be an Advisory Group member download and complete the Expression of Interest Form.
