Rohanna Angus is a Bardi and Jawi woman from Ardyaloon Aboriginal Community, two hours drive north of Broome.
Rohanna has extensive skills, knowledge and experience working in the Media sector and Film industry, which has enhanced her personal and professional development. She has also conducted workshops for the First Nations Media Australia Leadership Programs, News Stories for the PAKAM and participated in National workshops such as FRAIM, National Indigenous Media Festivals and recently attended CONVERGE in Alice Springs.
Rohanna started working for the Pilbara and Kimberley Aboriginal Media (PAKAM) in 2001 as an Administrator in Broome while also participating in broadcasting and video productions. She then moved back to her community and started working as a PAKAM Remote Indigenous Broadcasting Service Operator.
Rohanna was also a Board member on the peak body the Australian Indigenous Communication Australia, AICA and a former PAKAM Board member.
