In this webinar for First Nations media organisations, Doug Hume will describe the outcomes of the Social Return on Investment (SROI) Study of Indigenous broadcasting Services (IBS) undertaken in 2017. The purpose of this study was to forecast the return on investment over three years of a very remote, regional and urban Indigenous broadcasting Services (IBS) by understanding, estimating and valuing their impact on stakeholders.
Doug will outline the approach take to the SROI study was undertaken, and the key learnings about the value, impact and cost-benefit of First Nations media organisations.
Representatives from the three Indigenous Broadcasting Services selected for the study – PAW Media, Umeewarra Media and Gadigal Information Services/ Koori Radio – will speak about the experience, outcomes and how they are using the results.
