IRCA encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander media organisations and practitioners to participate in the AFTRS Skills survey to ensure that AFTRS plays an active role in supporting the development of the Indigenous media industry.

AFTRS is undertaking a comprehensive industry survey to provide insight into the training and talent development needs of the screen and broadcast sectors. AFTRS has a commitment to engaging and developing pathways into the industry for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.  
 
The AFTRS’ Skills Survey 2016: Industrial Strength will identify immediate priorities as well as signpost future needs and trends. They have set up a survey that can be quickly and easily completed online, and has options for both companies and individuals.
