Gavin Ivey is a proud Bundjalung man residing on Gadigal country.

Gavin has an extensive working background in community radio having been involved with the sector for over 20 years, producing, writing, and hosting radio programs, podcast series and promotion materials. Gavin has also held various roles worked within the First Nations Arts sector primarily in Sydney NSW.

He has been a board member at the Community Media Training Organisation,

Positive Life NSW, and Gadigal Information Services Aboriginal Corporation, Koori Radio Sydney.

Gavin has also sat on the following panels: FNMA Content Sharing Advisory Committee, FNMA Indigitube Advisory Committee, 2020 FNMA First Sounds Music Compilation, 2019/2020 CBAA National Features and Documentary Series, and 2018 Spotify, First Nations Sound Up Panel.
